We have foster carers from a range of heritages, and most of them live within
the M25, all of our carers are approved to care for two or more siblings.
Our carers are approved by the Time for Children Panel before they can start looking after children on our behalf.
All carers have a link worker - a Time for Children social work manager whose job it is to support them and their foster families in
their task of providing top quality care to all children placed with them.
Time for Children foster carers are paid a generous fee reflecting the importance of the their
work and commitment to the care of children 24 hours each day. They are
entitled to 14 nights paid leave each year and days off throughout the year (as
appropriate to the needs of the placement).
Our carers are all required to undertake our training programme, currently the
CWDC training. They also meet together at other times in their local area to
offer each other support and share experiences of fostering.
